These are just ok… $2.50 per bag? Too expensive for what you getYum! These are a tasty little crunchy snack. It's a crunchy cereal with a hazelnut filling. The filling is mostly dry, not soft and creamy. These are very similar to Kellogg's Crave cereal. The individual package sizes are good, and i get enough to satisfy my snacking need. The ingredient list is pretty short compared to many snack foods and are mostly recognizable. The main ingredients are Rice flour, hazelnut and peanut filling, corn meal, sugar, corn starch, cocoa powder and ammonium bicarbonate (leavening agent). The ingredients are broken down a bit more, but that's the basics. These are gluten free, cholesterol free and low in sodium. However, they are high in sugar, high in carbohydrates and low in protein. So it's definitely not a health food, but good to snack on occasionally.Sell by date is 04-05-23. They are well sealed, arrived in a nice box and taste fresh. You receive 12 of the snack bags in a box. Price is higher than average for cereal snacks, but the product is good. These are a nice health snack. They taste decent and there is a good amount in each pouch so somewhat satisfying. They aren't pillows so much as chocolate bits coated in a dry crispy coating. The coating is dry, no doubt, so have some water or milk nearby. They aren't going to win any pastry awards but guilt free and decent. There is a fair amount of dust on the bottom of the bag. If you upend it into your mouth, you may begin to cough/choke as it is too much to process, so don't do that. Throw the dust away. That isn't worth it.The basic cereal part of this is tasty on its own. It's a lightly sweetened, crunchy corn "pillow" which is nice to eat on its own or with milk. It stands up well to nut milk and doesn't get too soggy too fast, though like all cereals it will get soggy over time. I liked eating it best as an independent snack from the bag rather than with milk poured on it.The packages for this are a bit unusual as the tearing point is in the center of the bag. That means that, once you open it, it's hard to clip shut if you use the built-in tear points. I just cut them along the top with scissors as one portion is on the large side for my tastes.I liked the texture and flavor of these quite a lot, but I felt that the hazelnut filling was on the skimpy side. It either is absorbed into the corn pillow portion or there just isn't much there. You can taste it, but it's on the subtle side. I had expected far more of a flavor punch from the filling and that it would at least hold its own against the sweetened corn exterior. It does not, but this is still a tasty snack. These are definitely on the expensive side, but they're really good. Part of that is the amount of added sugar. It's a little high. If you're looking for a gluten free snack, this is a good one for you. I think they could take off if they lowered the price a bit. Packaging is nice and professional. Very close to being 5 star for me, but it's the little things.A good gluten free sweet cereal option. They're bite size and these packs are adorable-- they're ready to go! They'd make good travel snacks. The sugar content is high so take that for what it is. We ordered the strawberry variety and couldn't taste the strawberry much but they're super crunchy. I found myself opening a pack and munching on them throughout the afternoon. I bet as a cereal these would be great with milk! The flavor of this was a subtle strawberry that avoided any cloying sweetness. It held up in milk and was crunchy but also soft. I liked the flavor and consistency and one bag is good for a breakfast bowl of cereal. These sort of remind me of those filled cereal pockets that were big a while back. I'm not even sure if they still make them. Anyway, they consist of a very dry, crunchy outside, and a creamy inside. They're pretty good. I do wish there was a tiny bit less outside (it's REALLY) dry and a tiny bit more inside, but they're good overall.
