Gluten Free Panettone with Chocolate Chunks - Giampaoli Italian Christmas Cake, Dairy Free & Vegan Holiday Dessert for Parties, Gifts & Festive Celebrations

I love Panettone and used to buy it every Christmas from the grocery store. Since I had to give up gluten I have missed many bakery items and being able to add Christmas Panettone back into my life is a wonderful thing. This one has raisins rather than the mixed dried fruits but the nice citrus background flavor is spot on and the texture is very light and fluffy. It is slightly dry and crumbles, I would compare the texture to cake. The loaf is smaller than I am used to getting in the store and so expensive for what it is but worth it for that once-a-year, one-of-a kind flavor.
