I love the product, but was disappointed in the packing with little protection to get here. The box was smashed and opened. Bread crumbs were still sealed though.I've been wanting fried fish fillets for quite a while now. I've tried so many gluten-free breading products I've lost track of their names. Some don't hold together during the fry process. Some tend to lump up. None ever taste as good as normal bread crumbs. Compared to all of my prior attempts to acquire a good product this time around I hit it out of the ballpark. These bread crumbs produce a nice even coating on the fillets that hold up through the whole cooking process and taste wonderful. Even my wife, who never shares my gluten-free products, (her choice not mine), joined right in and enjoyed them as much as I did.Neither my wife or I like spicy foods. If you do you'll probably want to get their spicier version. I purchased the plain version and, as soon as I finish with this review, I'm going to put in a second order for the same.Tastes just the same as the normal bread crumbs! Great products! You know what it's like to miss out on stuff. I can't say that I've ever fried with this product, but I have baked with it and it is addictive. The top stays crunchy and crumbly while the bottom can turn into a nice little gluten-like gravy--all sticky and thick when mixed with the cooking juices. Wet white rice flour-based crumbs will break down to a sauce, but in this case, I find it quite delicious. I normally cook using a ton of herbs. This and an Italian mix plus dill, perhaps a little coconut oil, on chicken is very good.As you know, white rice is half as fattening as wheat, or at least it seems like it, so it's well worth it.Note: If you are a cereal eater, you will recognize what it's made of when you open your first can. These bread crumbs are really good. Stay crunchy, flavor is good especially with Frank's hot powder. My husband is Celiac but I enjoy this too. It's too hard to make individual meals so I eat a lot of gluten free too.Like so well shared with a friend.Good flavor and cook-ability, a little pricey, but most items with the gluten free designation usually are high priced. Been gluten free for years, and 4C breadcrumbs are the best I have found. Does well when frying and exceptionally well in air fryer. Does not have strong salty flavorI found this when I had to eat gluten free for 6 years - I love crispy fried chicken , and this stuff is better than the flour based bread crumbs. Believe me , I know. So the trick is , to coat your chicken in mayonnaise, along with seasoning. Then completely cover in the bread crumbs , continue with frying process . You will have the crispiest , Golden brown fried chicken ever !!
